Gingival masks
Valplast dentures are a removable click in appliance made using Vaplast injection molding system or can be made in acrylic, used to cover lost or receding gingival tissue. Flexible and comfortable without the need for surgery.
Anti-snoring devices
Good news for snorers and those who don't snore. Snoring occurs when loose or fatty muscle tissues in the back of the throat relax during sleep. As these tissues collapse into the throat, air is forced through the shrunken air ways producing vibrations in the back of the throat that cause the snoring sounds.
Snoring can be treated with a variety of different methods. The simplest and least obtrusive is to make a Silencor SL anti-snoring device. The Silensor-sl consists of one transparent splint for the upper jaw and one for the lower jaw.
The lower jaw is either held in a predetermined position or advanced by 2 connectors that are fixed laterally to the splint. The Silensor-sl thus counteracts the narrowing of the respiratory tracts.
The velocity of the inspired air decreases and so do noise-generating vibrations of soft tissues. With the Silensor-sl jaw movements are possible, but no falling back of the lower jaw. With this function, the Silensor-sl is a comfortable and at the same time effective snoreguard.
Clinical tests have shown that the advancement of the lower jaw considerably reduces snoring at more than 80% of the patients and may reduce the apnea index at up to 50%. An increased opening allows more oxygen into the lungs, which lessens the vibrating tissue in the back of the throat. Have a good night's sleep tonight!
Enigma shading
Beautiful teeth are only shown off to their best advantage when framed by an equally beautiful acrylic base which replicates the appearance of the natural gingival tissue.
Enigma Colour Tone has been produced as a range of eight colours for application as layers of acrylic to the denture shades, such as ivory, light pink, natural pink, medium pink, dark pink, blue pink, light brown and dark brown.
